For over fifteen years Black & White Comunicazione has worked alongside RICREA to tell the story of steel packaging recycling, building around the Consortium an ecosystem of social channels that speak to citizens, families, schools and stakeholders with different tones.

RICREA is the consortium of the CONAI system that has guaranteed the recovery and recycling of steel packaging in Italy since 1997 — cans, tins, aerosols, caps and drums — a material that can be recycled endlessly without losing its properties. The agency works with the Consortium to bring this message to the widest possible audience: on the press office side it produces press releases, interviews and editorials on recycling results, national campaigns, educational projects and local initiatives with municipalities and waste operators, with ongoing coverage of general-interest, local, environmental and trade media, TV and radio.

On the social side, RICREA is not a single page but an ecosystem of channels, each with its own audience and tone: the institutional profiles on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn present the Consortium's data, activities and positions to citizens and stakeholders; Un Rompiscatole in cucina (Facebook and Instagram) brings steel to the table with recipes and tips on canned food; Capitan Acciaio (Facebook and Instagram) follows the travelling educational tour that meets children and families in Italian squares every year; Cuore Mediterraneo (Facebook and Instagram) accompanies the summer campaign dedicated to seaside resorts; RICREA EDU (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) addresses schools, teachers and young people with the Consortium's educational projects.

Behind every channel is a complete cycle: dedicated editorial plans, in-house production of visuals and video, copywriting, community management, paid campaigns and periodic reporting, coordinated with the Consortium's national media campaigns and events.
