Product press office and events for Electrolux and AEG

Since 2017 Black & White Comunicazione has worked alongside Electrolux Appliances on product communication for the Electrolux and AEG brands, bringing appliance innovation, design and sustainability to the Italian media.

Electrolux is one of the world's leading appliance manufacturers, with a mission — Shape living for the better — that combines performance, design and care for the environment; AEG is its premium brand, aimed at those seeking advanced technology and refined aesthetics in the kitchen and in fabric care. For the Italian market the agency runs the product press office for both brands, ensuring that every launch — from built-in major appliances to small domestic appliances — receives coverage consistent with each brand's positioning.

The work spans the full range: press releases and interviews for kitchen, laundry and small appliance news, editorials and content for the design, interiors, lifestyle and technology press, as well as newspapers and news agencies, with ongoing relationships with journalists and editorial teams. The agency also supports the Group's corporate themes — low-impact washing, the fight against food waste, research and studies — and has worked with the brands on influencer and content-creator activations such as the Electrolux PerfectCare campaign.

Events are the second pillar of the engagement: at Milan's Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone, the agency handles media relations, invitations and press presence at the exhibition spaces, with AEG at the centre of installations dedicated to design and innovation; for IFA in Berlin it manages accreditation and support for the Italian press and the distribution of the news unveiled at the fair. Every activity is followed by monitoring and reporting, giving the marketing and communication teams a clear view of the visibility achieved by brand, theme and product.
