Press office and media relations for FIAB

Since January 2025 Black & White Comunicazione has run the press office of the Italian Federation for the Environment and the Bicycle, giving a voice to those who promote cycling as a means of everyday transport, travel and environmental protection.

FIAB is Italy's leading organisation for urban cycling and cycle tourism: a network of over 180 local associations and around 20,000 members campaigning for the right to active mobility, the safety of cyclists and a fairer distribution of public space. The agency works with the Federation to bring these issues to the attention of national and local media, turning institutional positions, data and initiatives into news capable of engaging journalists, readers and decision-makers.

The work follows the Federation's calendar throughout the year: from the ComuniCiclabili ceremonies to Bimbimbici, from the National Cycle Tourism Days to the Bicistaffetta and European Mobility Week, through to the National Assembly and the presentation of the cycle tourism report. Added to this are positions on road safety, infrastructure and cycling policy — such as the contribution to the bill protecting pedestrians and cyclists — and press support for major international events such as Velo-city 2026.

Press releases, interviews, editorials and supporting materials are backed by ongoing relationships with general-interest, local, trade and sustainable-mobility outlets, as well as TV and radio. Constant monitoring and periodic reporting measure the coverage obtained and give the Federation a clear picture of its media presence over time.
